Role Overview
Responsible for overall content planning and editorial coordination across multiple platforms, including television programming, YouTube, Instagram, and Chinese-language social media platforms. This role ensures that all content aligns with public-interest objectives, is non-political, verifiable, and consistent across channels.
The Content Planning & Editorial Coordinator serves as the central content strategy role, defining what content is produced, why it is produced, and how it is adapted for different platforms.
Recruitment Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Journalism, Communications, Chinese Language, Public Affairs, Social Sciences, Media Studies, or a related field

2–5 years of experience in content planning, editorial coordination, or media-related roles

Strong Chinese-language writing and content structuring skills

Familiarity with television content formats and digital media platforms
Core Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning

Develop the overall content framework, editorial calendar, and program structure

Plan topics related to public information, public services, regional development, and community needs

Ensure all content adheres to non-political, public-interest, and verifiable information principles
Multi-Platform Content Adaptation

Design long-form content concepts for television and YouTube (interviews, explainers, features)

Plan short-form content adaptations for Instagram and YouTube Shorts

Structure practical, information-focused content for Chinese-language social media platforms
Editorial Coordination

Collaborate with public information editors and research staff to ensure accuracy

Provide scripts, outlines, and content briefs to the video and digital production team
