NOECCF (Northern Ontario Excellent Chinese Cultural Federation / Chamber)
is a member-driven, non-profit chamber organization.
The Chamber’s strategic direction, key initiatives, and external engagement efforts are developed under the oversight of the Board of Directors, and are advanced through a structure of Committees and Task Forces.
These committees and task forces draw on the professional expertise, industry perspectives, and community experience of our members to support policy dialogue, project development, cross-cultural cooperation, and regional community development.
Policy & Advocacy Committee
Monitor provincial (Ontario) and federal policy developments
Consolidate member perspectives into constructive policy input
Support policy dialogue related to Canada–China trade, education, and cultural engagement
Finance & Compliance Committee
Support oversight of financial transparency and regulatory compliance
Assist with project budgeting, use of funds, and risk management
Ensure Chamber operations align with Canadian non-profit governance requirements
Governance Committee
Oversee governance structure, by-laws, and Board-related matters
Support Board recruitment, succession planning, and governance best practices
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee
Promote multicultural understanding and inclusive community engagement
Support participation by newcomers, international students, and cross-cultural groups
Ensure Chamber initiatives reflect principles of fairness, respect, and inclusion
